I’m obsessed with creating inventive, produce-heavy meals, and sharing my creations with others to show them how amazing clean eating can be. My recipes are allergy friendly (peanut & soy free), gluten free, and mostly lactose free (I use yogurt and occasionally cheese, especially in family favorite recipes). I also experiment with making desserts and treats with the lowest amounts of sugar possible, and use natural sweeteners like honey, molasses, dates, and bananas.
My recipes are designed to be lower calorie, filling, and nutritionally dense. Through a lot of experimentation, I’ve learned to use fruits and vegetables in place of many “traditional” ingredients in smoothies, soups, salads, and baked goods. Healthful ingredients are a must, but I also aim to make recipes that non-health-food-junkies enjoy. I often have friends and family mention that I’m talented at making vegetables taste good! Vegetables DO taste good, but preparing them in inventive ways makes them more interesting for sure!
